Ancestry: Library Edition

  • Ancestry & Genealogy Research
  • Free for the public and does not require a library card.
  • ONLY available within the library, via public computers and WiFi
  • This is the library edition of Ancestry.com and may not offer the full arrange of services provided by the paid member service.

Braille and Talking Book Collection

  • At-home access to the state of Michigan's Braille & Talking Book Collection
  • Free for Michigan residents who qualify
  • Through the Labor and Economic Opportunity department of the State of Michigan, qualifying residents with limited sight & blindness may have braille and talking books sent to their home

New York Times Digital Edition

  • Access to current editions, as well as the archive of, the New York Times
  • Free for Michigan residents
  • Digital content from the NYT is available through the GALE database
  • Please note that the free digital copy includes ALL articles from the NYT, but is formatted as a periodical search and not a typical digital newspaper/magazine

Our book drop is located in the rear parking lot of the library, which is accessible though the Richland Eye Care parking lot off of 32nd Street.
