What is Curbside Pickup?
Curbside Pickup is a service offer by the Richland Community Library that assists patrons who can get to the library, but may have difficulty accessing the building. This could include, but is not limited to, patrons who have mobility issues, trouble traversing icy/wet sidewalks, and parents with sleeping babies.
How does Curbside Pickup work?
1. Make sure your items have been placed on hold and are ready for pickup.
- You may place items on hold via the library’s website or Librista app OR by calling at least 24 hours ahead of time. (See link below for assistance on placing holds)
- You will be notified once your items are available for pickup. Notification preference can be set or changed per individual patron.
2. Arrive at the library during pickup hours and park in the front of the building.
- Pickup hours are Tuesdays & Wednesdays between 11 AM - 5 PM, Thursdays between 11 AM - 6 PM, and Fridays between 11 AM - 4 PM.
- Front lot parking is preferred. Please park as close as you can to the front of the building.
3. Call the library at (269) 629-9085 and let us know that you have arrived.
- Let the staff member know where you parked and what type of vehicle you are in.
- Delivery may take a few minutes depending on the quantity of items & availability of staff.
