Richland Community Library

We're Turning 50!

This year marks the 50th Anniversary of the Richland Community Library!

Since our humble beginnings in the basement of the Village Office, RCL has been honored to serve as a community hub by connecting our patrons to all forms of literacy, lifelong learning, and growth. This anniversary is not only a celebration of our history but also a heartfelt tribute to you, our patrons, whose support and engagement have made these fifty years so remarkable.

To commemorate this golden anniversary, we are thrilled to announce a series of special events and activities throughout the year that will highlight our shared love for our library, our patrons, and our community.

Thank you for being an essential part of our library’s story. As we honor the past and look toward the future, we remain dedicated to enriching lives and fostering community connections.

Here’s to celebrating fifty years of discovery and growth together – and to many more years serving the community of Richland!

Starting in May, special edition 50th Anniversary Library Cards will be available to Richland Residents & Paid Cards holders.
