What is Meet Michigan Authors?
Meet Michigan Authors is a programming series featuring Michigan-based authors & storytellers.
Authors are invited to come and speak about their latest book, their writing history, or a subject that they feel passionately about.
The Meet Michigan Authors program is made available through a collaboration between the Richland Community Library, the Gull Lake Area Rotary Club, the Friends of the Library, and the Croasdale Family.

Author John Wemlinger has mined his military experience to inspire his writing, covering such topics as PTSD, veteran mental health and military justice.
John will be discussing his newest book Finding Innocence and the important, but often, taboo topics within the story.
US Army Sergeant Rebecca Farnsworth is attacked and left for dead on a sprawling military installation. Her life’s trail begins with her survival. (Finding Innocence)

Nicole is the author of This Book is Dangerous, a reading journal designed to help readers fight back against censorship.
In addition to talking about her book, Nicole will discuss her life as a bookstore owner, how she became involved with the book censorship issue and how she navigates it all in the current sociopolitical environment.
