Stats About the Library

• Every year, the library is tasked with gathering statistics to provide to the state of Michigan in order to qualify for state funding.
• These stats range from how many new library cards, to how many circulating items, to how many attendees at programs.
• Gathering all these numbers take quite a lot of time. It seems crazy that only the State of Michigan gets to see the outcome of our hard work. So, we want to pass this information along to you!
• While, we cannot speak for every library in the state, we can speak for Richland. Each year we continue to see increase numbers of people coming to the library, using our services, and attending our programs.

• NOTE: When we say year, we mean our fiscal year, which is October 1st - September 30.
