How the Reading Challenge Works:

• Track your reading between June 24-August 2, 2025

• Pick up a bookmark tracker at the front desk OR track your books online using the Beanstack App (click the icon to find out more)

• For every 6 titles read, stop into the library and grab a prize

• There is no limit to the amount of prizes you can collect. If you are participating in our Year-Long Reading Challenge, you can count your titles for both!

• Must be 18 or older to participate. You do not need to be an RCL member, however, you must be able to pick up your prizes in person.

What is the Adult Reading Challenge?

The RCL Reading Challenge is intended to encourage adults to take the time to read for their own enjoyment.

We know that life gets busy and free time can often be hard to come by, but finding time to read for pleasure can improve one’s empathy, intelligence, and wellness. Just think- you’re reading for your health!

What Do I Have to Do?

To complete the RCL Reading Challenge, you must read and log 50 titles. That’s it.

The titles can be books, eBooks, or audiobooks. They can be fiction or nonfiction. They can be titles targeted towards adults, teens, or kids. Whatever you wish to read, you can log.

How Long Do I Have to Complete It?

There is no set time frame for which you must complete this challenge.

Once you’ve filled this reading log, bring it back to the library for a prize.
