  • Summer Reading starts on June 18, 2024 and lasts until August 3, 2024.
  • Individuals or families can sign up for the Reading Challenge portion by downloading and registering with the Beanstack app OR by stopping into the library and grabbing a paper tracker. Need Help? Watch our Tutorial!
  • Reading Challenges vary by age/grade, with programs for Kids (Infant - Grade 5), Teens (Grade 6 - 12), and Adults (Ages 18+) Click on the icons above for more details about each individual program.
  • Events, programs, & activities will be held during Summer Reading to accompany the Reading Challenge. Some require registration BEFORE the date of the event. Required registration will be noted within the details of each event. You may register for a program through our online calendar, or by calling the library and speaking to a staff member. 
  • You DO NOT need to be a patron of the Richland Community Library to participate in the Summer Reading Challenge or to attend any of the programs and events. However, you must be able to pick up any prizes or rewards IN PERSON.

Our book drop is located in the rear parking lot of the library, which is accessible though the Richland Eye Care parking lot off of 32nd Street.
