500 Books Before Middle School
The concept of the program is simple: read a book, any book, and record when you've finished the book! The goal is to read 500 books before you start middle school, and before you ask, yes, you can repeat books. If you read 2 books a week, you will have read 104 books in a year. That is 208 books in two years and 312 books in three years!
You may enroll in this program at any time before middle school. Best of all, you can complete the program at your own pace! You can track your progress online with RCL’s Beanstack app or by printing out the log sheets from home. Log sheets are available at the Children's Desk, as well. To register, head to our Beanstack website or stop at the Children's Desk.
Are you up to the challenge? Read 500 books before middle school! Log your reading to earn badges along the way. Then, each year, for every 25 books you read, you earn an entry into our annual grand prize raffle of a $50 gift card. After 500 books, you receive a backpack with school supplies.
