Richland Community Library

RCL's mission behind our Sustainable Summer Adult Reading Program is to bring information about and awareness of sustainable living.

Here are a few ways we are working to accomplish our mission:

  • The Adult Reading Tracker is available digitally to reduce paper waste.
  • Physical Reading Trackers are printed on recycled paper.
  • Drinks & snacks provided at adult library programs will be selected with minimal waste in mind.
  • The majority of Adult Summer Reading marketing will be done digitally. When paper marketing is needed, flyers and notices will be printed on recycled paper.
  • Prizes will be second hand/gently used donations.

1. Record any book/audiobook that you read between June 1 and August 31, 2024 through the paper tracker or through the Beanstack App.
2. Turn in your completed bookmark/show us six titles on your app, for a prize!
3. Read/listen to as many books as you can between the dates. There is no limit to how many prizes you can win.

Reading Contest Rules:

  • Participants MUST be 18 years of age or older.
  • Participants do not have to be Richland residents to enter, but MUST be able to pick up their prizes in person or send someone to pick up their prizes.
  • Books/Audiobooks MUST be read between the program dates to count. (June 1 - August 31, 2024)
